The Apostle Paul told Timothy that even as a child, you have known the scriptures ( 2 Tim. 3:15). These words are also true concerning our beloved Pastor, Bishop Jerome Spencer.

Raised in a Christian home and taught the ways of the Lord, Bishop Spencer began his ministry under the Spirit filled leadership of his father, the late Bishop Sterling J. Spencer. Bishop Jerome Spencer was educated in the Cincinnati Public Schools. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati in 1983. Bishop Jerome then enrolled (for graduate studies) in The United Theological Seminary and later in Xavier University.

After the passing of his father, Bishop Jerome Spencer assumed the roll of leadership in St. Petersburg, Florida, becoming Pastor of the 15th Ave. S. Community Holiness Church and the Faith Temple Church of God. Bishop Jerome Spencer later returned to Pastor Faith Temple Church of God in Cincinnati.

Bishop Jerome Spencer does indeed possess a Shepherd's heart. He has always been kindhearted, caring and generous to all who have come in contact with his ministry. Because of his Christlike character, he has been granted several ministerial accommodations and promotions; ordained a minister, anointed an Elder, and appointed Bishop all before the age of 25.

Jerome and his lovely wife and co-pastor, Vickie, have been married 26 years. They have three beautiful children.
